The CCRP Mission Statement

The Cherokee County Republican Party (CCRP) stands for fiscal responsibly, lower taxes, local control of schools, property rights protection, traditional family values and decreasing the size of government.

It is not expected that every member will agree 100% with all issues. But, by joining CCRP, the member understands they have joined a party whose members overwhelmingly support the above principles.

Members also agree with the premise that less government is better than more government and local government is more accountable than the federal government

for $10,500 Donation to Papa’s Pantry

WOODSTOCK (Oct. 29, 2009) – State Sen. Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) has secured a $10,000 donation from the Wal-Mart Corporation and donated an additional $500 to help support Papa’s Pantry. The Woodstock based charity is a ministry aimed at helping those who have suffered job loss, illness, or economic hardship resulting in a lack of food in the household.

This will provide hundreds of meals at a time when many local families are really hurting.” said Senator Rogers. “This incredible ministry has been a saving grace for so many families over the last decade. It is an honor to play a small part in their success.”
